Have Your Own Equipment?
- If you already have your own equipment, you can come on as an Owner Operator! Here is how you can qualify as an Owner Operator for Giltner:
- Equipment must be 3 years old or newer
- Must be California Carbon-Compliant
- Tractor must weigh less than 17,500 lbs (dry weight, before fuel)
- Tractor must be able to haul 44,000 lbs
- Inspection of equipment will be required prior to signing of contract
Owner Operators with their own Authority will enjoy the same benefits as lease operators, but can make 83% of Line Haul instead of 73%. Giltner will also provide trailers for drop and hook freight.
